How does Pearl Image Teeth Whitening Kit work?

Place a small line of the gel halfway up the inner front of both the top and bottom surface of your teeth tray and insert teeth tray firmly against your teeth. The carbamide peroxide gel in you Pearl Image Teeth Whitening Kit breaks down, causing an oxidation process which will start to break down and remove the existing stains on your teeth.

How/Why do I us the LED light included in my Pearl Image Teeth Whitening Kit?

The LED light in your Pearl Image Teeth Whitening Kit helps in breaking down the carbamide peroxide, increasing the effectiveness of the gels penetration to the tooth surface. The notches or small dips in both the teeth tray and mini LED light are to be facing up when being placed into your mouth, lining up the teeth tray and the LED light perfectly. Once the teeth tray is comfortably in your mouth, place the LED light directly on top of the teeth tray inside your mouth. Press the small white button on the LED light to turn it on.

How long should a session be?

A whitening session is 20 minutes long. When you first start using your Pearl Image Teeth Whitening Kit, do two whitening sessions back to back for a total of 40 minutes. You can do a maximum of eight sessions (approximately half a single tube) spaced out in one week or 4 days in a row. This helps our clients who are in a hurry for a major event such as; a wedding, photo shoot or job interview. We do not recommend you exceed 8 sessions in a week due to possible sensitivity to your gums and teeth. After reaching the level of whiteness you desire, you should complete a touchup sessions periodically to remove new stains.

Do you clean the mouth piece between sessions?

Yes, rinse out both your mouth and teeth tray before re-applying gel and starting your next session.

When and where should I do my Pearl Image Teeth Whitening treatment?

If you are occupied while whitening your teeth, such as while reading, watching TV, or cooking, the time of the treatment will go by faster and be more enjoyable but feel free to do your treatment any time you wish.
*Because your Mini Light has batteries, please keep it away from open water and do not use while in the bath tub or shower both for your safety and to avoid damage to the unit.
